WTW Job Opportunity: Senior Consultant - Personal Lines Pricing Actuary

WTW is seeking a Pricing Actuary with personal lines insurance experience in the market to join our Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) practice as a Senior Consultant. In this role, you will collaborate with our team of experts in pricing, portfolio management, underwriting, finance, and claims to deliver consulting and technology solutions to our personal lines insurance clients.

Our ICT division offers a combination of advisory services, cutting-edge technology solutions, and software, supported by exceptional analytical capabilities. WTW aims to expand its presence in North America's P&C sector, particularly in Pricing, Product, Claims, and Underwriting (PPCU). Our goal is to advise insurance clients on enhancing their underwriting, pricing, product development, distribution, and sales processes, and to position the WTW Pricing and Underwriting Platform as a leader in actuarial transformation.

This position can be based in a major market and offers remote/virtual work options.

The Responsibilities

1. Lead and participate in teams delivering actuarial-focused client projects.
2. Perform work such as rate indications, predictive model development, peer reviews, regulatory filings, and pricing analytics reviews.
3. Achieve billable hour targets and support sales efforts, acting as a respected and effective consultant.
4. Utilize actuarial and market knowledge as a subject matter expert.
5. Build trusted relationships with clients through effective communication.
6. Understand client challenges to scope, develop, and deliver engagements.
7. Demonstrate applications of WTW’s technology products to clients.
8. Foster internal relationships and collaborate across teams.
9. Mentor and manage junior colleagues, training them in technical, theoretical, and project delivery aspects.
10. Continuously seek opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and develop new client propositions.
