Nationwide is seeking an Actuarial Consultant for P&C to perform sophisticated actuarial analyses, pricing and risk assessment. The role emphasizes modeling, reporting, and collaboration with pricing and analytics teams while supporting ERM initiatives.

The position offers exposure to a rotation program across actuarial, analytics and risk management functions, with potential for hybrid/remote arrangements and strong growth opportunities within a Fortune 100 company.

Qualifications

• ACAS designation; FCAS in progress
• Five or more years of actuarial experience
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science or related field

Responsabilités

• Has in depth knowledge of actuarial methodologies with the ability to source and manipulate complex data within standard requirements.
• Conducts complex analyses and develops recommendations, documenting assumptions, methods, and sources.
• Presents actuarial findings to senior leadership and may represent company with regulators.
• Develops work plans and leads peer reviews; maintains relationships with business customers.
• Applies data mining to identify relationships and builds/validates models; explores new software packages.
