Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC. is seeking a Rig Operator to lead a 4-5 person Plug & Abandonment crew and safely operate P&A components on the rig. You will prepare the crew, inspect, maintain and execute operations per company and customer requirements.

The role stresses safety, teamwork and meeting customer expectations. Minimum qualifications include 2+ years P&A rig experience, 5+ years as Rig Operator, valid CDL, and ability to lift 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must have valid state-issued driver’s license; CDL-A or B is a plus.
• Ability to work a varied rotational schedule and travel as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 4-5 person P&A rig crew and operate P&A components safely.
• Prepare crew, inspect, maintain, and operate the P&A rig per procedures.
• Train and direct crew on safety and job procedures when needed.
• Ensure safety programs and daily maintenance are followed.
• Coordinate with supervisor to meet customer requirements.
