Job summary

Axis Energy Services is seeking a Rig Operator for a local to within 60 miles of Meshoppen, PA. You will lead a 4–5 person crew, operate and maintain the workover rig, and ensure safety and efficiency on every job.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid license, and extensive workover rig experience. The role requires travel and adherence to safety procedures in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver license with acceptable MVR; CDL class A/B preferred.
• Minimum five years of workover rig experience; two years as Rig Operator; two years (prefer 3) as Derrick Hand/Floor Hand.
• Basic knowledge of service mechanical functions.
• Ability to travel and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist a 4–5 person workover rig crew.
• Drive and operate the workover rig as required.
• Inspect, set up, transport, and troubleshoot rig equipment.
• Maintain safety procedures and daily maintenance programs.
• Communicate effectively with field supervision and customers.
