Job summary

Axis Energy Services in Victoria, TX seeks a Rig Operator to lead a 4-5 person P&A crew and safely operate P&A components and services. You will prepare crew, inspect, maintain and operate the rig in line with company procedures and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising safety, training crew on procedures, coordinating with Tool Pusher/Field Supervisor, and ensuring operations meet safety and performance standards in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of P&A rig experience; 5 years as a Rig Operator.
• Valid state-issued driver's license; CDL A/B preferred.
• Ability to work varied rotational schedule and travel as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and access work at heights up to 50 ft.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 4-5 person P&A rig crew and operate P&A components safely.
• Prepare crew, inspect, maintain, and operate the rig per procedures and customer requirements.
• Inspect setup, teardown and transport of the P&A rig; perform routine equipment checks.
• Train and direct crew on safety and job procedures; monitor safety programs.
