Job summary

Keller Executive Search is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead its flagship Houston store for a rapidly growing luxury Western lifestyle retailer. The role blends strong retail business acumen with exceptional people leadership to deliver a personalized luxury customer experience and drive commercial performance.

You will own store results, build a clienteling culture, recruit and develop a high‑performing team, and represent the brand in the Houston community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated retail management experience in luxury, premium or high‑touch retail.
• Proven success coaching and developing retail sales teams.
• Strong understanding of store performance: sales, payroll, inventory.
• Experience building customer relationships and clienteling culture.
• Entrepreneurial, results‑oriented mindset with ownership of outcomes.
• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of store sales, profitability, payroll, inventory and operations.
• Deliver an elevated, highly personalized customer experience.
• Build a strong clienteling culture that drives loyalty, referrals and repeat business.
• Recruit, coach, motivate and retain a high‑performing team.
• Set clear goals and monitor conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction and performance.
• Analyze sales trends and take timely action to improve results.
• Maintain merchandising, presentation, organization and product‑care standards.
• Develop relationships within the Houston community.
• Communicate the craftsmanship and stories behind the merchandise.
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust and recognition.
