Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on capital projects. You will perform surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review inspection records and specs, and report quality status to the project lead.

Your week alternates between field observations and documentation, witnessing hold points, and closing audit findings; the role is ideal for someone who can see where records and work diverge before the client's

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
