Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to join the owner-side quality team. You will oversee surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review QC plans and records, and track audit findings to closure.

You will report quality status to the project quality lead and support a rigorous quality program across capital projects. The role is suited to someone with field experience who wants to understand quality from the writing of requirements and the ability to

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
