Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner- or EPC-led quality programs on capital projects. You will conduct surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review quality documentation and inspection records, and report status to the project quality lead.

The role suits an inspector or QC engineer who wants to influence quality requirements from the side that writes them. Travel to project sites is required, and a valid driver's license is needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organization with document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
