Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality programs on major capital projects. You will write the requirements and help ensure quality is built into the project from the start.

The role includes surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, reviewing QC plans and records, and tracking audit findings to closure, reporting to the project quality lead. Travel to active sites is required and a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Clear written reporting and organization under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
