Job summary

SLS Consultants is seeking an Owner's Representative Project Manager for a major hyperscale data center development in the Dallas market. You will act on-site as the owner’s representative, coordinating with developers, contractors, and operations to drive the project from preconstruction through turnover.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction or owner’s representation on large-scale facilities, with strong scheduling, risk review, and change management skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction or owner's representative experience in large-scale projects.
• Experience delivering data center, commercial, or mission-critical facilities.
• Ability to manage projects from preconstruction through turnover and influence teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Represent the owner throughout the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through turnover.
• Manage third-party developers and ensure alignment with owner objectives.
• Drive project schedules and hold stakeholders to milestones.
• Review risks, change orders, RFIs, and schedule impacts.
• Support constructability reviews during design and preconstruction.
• Coordinate between operations, development, design, and construction teams.
• Monitor field activities and proactively resolve project issues.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.
