Job summary

Himes Associates, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to serve as an Owner's Representative for a major hyperscale data center campus in Abilene, Texas.

This is a full-time onsite leadership role working directly with the client, contractors, and the technical team to drive delivery. You will own scope, schedule, and budget, manage risks, coordinate MEP interfaces, and lead inspections, turnover, and closeout, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering or related field; PMP/PE/CCM preferred.
• 10+ years of construction/project management experience with complex projects.
• Data center or mission-critical construction experience required; hyperscale preferred.
• Experience coordinating electrical, mechanical, controls, and infrastructure systems.
• Strong client reporting and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, documentation, and closeout.
• Coordinate among client stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and design teams.
• Oversee construction execution; identify risks before milestones.
• Manage complex MEP interfaces and critical infrastructure integration.
• Track schedules, milestones, dependencies, and long-lead equipment.
• Support procurement, delivery, installation, testing, turnover, and closeout.
• Maintain daily/weekly project reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Participate in client meetings and drive actions to closure.
