Job summary

SFR3 LLC in Birmingham, AL seeks an Owner's Representative to oversee renovation projects across markets, ensuring high standards and timely completion. You’ll represent the owner in field operations, coach teams, and drive value through proactive maintenance and turn-key turnovers.

Role requires 5–10 years of renovation/construction experience, strong leadership, and comfort with handheld tech. A driver’s license and access to tools are essential; EPA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Owner mindset, proactive, self-directed, and highly motivated.
• 5–10 years renovation/construction experience with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Excellent communication; ability to coach with authority and influence.
• Comfort using technology to manage workload and new software as needed.
• Must own tools and have a truck or van; valid driver’s license.
• reside within reasonable proximity to work site.
• EPA Universal Certification highly desired.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Technically proficient with handheld devices (iOS) for field updates.
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs (carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Inspect properties, secure homes, and conduct vacancy/wellness checks.
• Coordinate pre-renovation repairs and utility inspections.
• Lead move-in/out meetings and property turnovers.
• Oversee and coach renovation managers; ensure SFR3 standards.
• Walk every home in Renovation to confirm completion and quality, and document issues.
• Estimate scope and budget for renovations; monitor budget adherence.
• Support field teams; motivate and align them with ownership values.
