Job summary

SFR3/American Avenue seeks an experienced Renovation Coordinator in the Raleigh area to uphold nationwide quality as we scale. You’ll tour homes daily, supervise multiple projects, coach renovation managers, and ensure every home meets SFR3 standards before turnover.

Open to candidates with 5–10 years in renovation/construction, strong plumbing/electrical/HVAC knowledge, ownership mindset, and excellent communication. Must own tools and a vehicle; EPA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ownership mindset: proactive, self-directed, motivated to uphold standards.
• Excellent, empathic communication and ability to coach and influence others.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Comfort with handheld tech and new field software tools.
• Must own tools and have a truck or van; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs ( carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Inspect properties, secure homes, and conduct vacancy/wellness checks.
• Manage move-in/out meetings and property turnovers; supervise ongoing work.
• Turn/renovate homes between tenants and ensure quality per SFR3 standards.
• Document property conditions using handheld devices; coach renovation managers.
• Walk every home to enforce standards and approve completion.
