Job summary

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager for a large hyperscale data center project in La Porte, Indiana. The role focuses on representing the owner, shaping cost and schedule strategies, and coordinating with design teams, GC partners, and procurement stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive preconstruction and estimating experience, with a strong grasp of MEP systems and constructability considerations in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or CM roles.
• Experience with data center or mission-critical facilities preferred.
• Owner representation and procurement experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities from planning through mobilization.
• Represent the owner during design development, budgeting, procurement, and contractor selection.
• Manage conceptual estimates, detailed cost plans, bid packages, and budget reconciliation.
• Review pricing for coverage, accuracy, and market competitiveness.
• Coordinate constructability reviews across design and construction teams.
• Develop procurement strategies for long lead equipment and major trades.
• Lead value engineering while protecting performance and schedule.
