Safety Management Group, LLC seeks an experienced environmental professional to serve as local Owner's Rep in Kenosha, WI, coordinating environmental compliance programs, permits, and corporate policies within project scopes.

The role involves leading investigations, training project teams, and supporting regulatory audits while collaborating with contractors to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and permit requirements.

Qualifications

• 7 years of environmental experience.
• Previous work on construction projects performing environmental services.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Environmental Studies, Geology, or similar is required.
• Thorough knowledge of environmental studies and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to plan, organize, and problem-solve.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and initiative.

Responsabilités

• Provide environmental compliance oversight for construction activities.
• Support compliance with NPDES, RCRA, Stormwater, Air Permits, and SPCC requirements.
• Develop and manage environmental plans, permits, documentation, and records.
• Conduct site inspections and compliance assessments to identify environmental risks.
• Partner with contractors to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and permit requirements.
• Lead environmental incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver environmental training, guidance, and coaching to project teams and contractors.
• Support regulatory audits, agency interactions, and project-specific environmental programs.

SMG is seeking a local Owner's Rep in Kenosha, WI to provide environmental services.

The Environmental Advisor is responsible for coordinating the implementation of environmental compliance programs, permit requirements, corporate environmental policies, standards, procedures, and strategic environmental goals within their assigned region, plant, and project scope.

Additional Information

• SMG full-time, benefitted Associates are eligible for Premium Pay after working 40 billable hours for the week. Premium pay is at a 1.35 multiplier.
• Annual pay/merit review/increase.
