Job summary

SMG is seeking a local environmental advisor in Huntsville, AL to coordinate environmental compliance programs for construction activities. You will ensure adherence to NPDES, RCRA, Stormwater, Air permits, and SPCC requirements, while developing permits, plans, documentation, and records for project scopes.

The role requires 7 years of environmental experience and a degree in Environmental Studies, Geology, or a related field.

• Previous work on construction projects performing environmental services
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Environmental Studies, Geology, or similar
• Knowledge of environmental studies and regulatory compliance

SMG is seeking a local Owner's Rep in Huntsville, AL to provide environmental services.

SMG is a nationally recognized professional service organization that provides workplace safety consulting, training, staffing, program planning, and implementation. The Environmental Advisor is responsible for coordinating the implementation of environmental compliance programs, permit requirements, corporate environmental policies, standards, procedures, and strategic environmental goals within their assigned region, plant, and project scope.

Additional Information

• SMG full-time, benefitted Associates are eligible for Premium Pay after working 40 billable hours for the week. Premium pay is at a 1.35 multiplier.
• Annual pay/merit review/increase.
