Job summary

MAAS Companies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee LAUSD school construction projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor coordination while ensuring compliance with DSA processes and district requirements.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in California. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in construction/project management, with experience on projects over $10M, plus relevant degrees.

Qualifications

• 10 years of full-time experience in construction or project management, with 3 years coordinating complex projects over $10M.
• 15 years of experience with 8 years coordinating complex projects over $10M; degree and CCM preferred.
• CCM credential may substitute for the degree

Responsibilities

• Own all phases of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Review preconstruction documents with comments to the designer.
• Provide status and progress reports to upper management.
• Coordinate with public agencies on off-site work and with District staff.
• Manage project budget and schedule per District standards.
• Review RFCs, substitutions, and change orders; address schedule impacts.
• Ensure DSA certification and financial closeout.
