Job summary

The Erosion Company is hiring a Construction Worker in Raleigh, NC to join our erosion control teams. This on-site role requires physical work, material handling, and assisting with cleanup while upholding safety standards.

You will support crew leaders, operate small machinery when needed, and contribute to installing erosion control measures. Overtime is available during peak seasons and health insurance is provided.

Qualifications

• Physically able to walk, bend, squat and lift to 50 lbs.
• Weather conditions such as rain, heat and cold.
• At least six months of prior experience in the construction field.
• Ability to operate small machinery such as Bobcat.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety Standards and machinery use.
• Load and unload materials.
• Follow instructions from crew leaders.
• Remove, fill, compact and prepare terrain.
• Install silt fencing and erosion control blankets with hand tools.
• Assist fellow crew members and perform site cleanup.
• Act as a spotter for vehicles as required.
