Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior IT Support Technician to deliver advanced Windows/server support for a U.S. government contract on Diego Garcia. You will perform Remedy ticketing, workstation setup, and on-call troubleshooting to ensure mission-critical operations run smoothly.

The role requires leadership experience in austere environments, security clearances, and the ability to coordinate with multinational teams under strict program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years in a Microsoft operating environment with PC hardware install/maintenance.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, Windows XP Pro and Office Pro, Tivoli, Remedy, UNIX/Linux.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills in austere, multi-national settings.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US passport and Secret clearance; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Windows/server support and remedy ticketing for the program.
• Assist remote help desk with workstation hardware install, configuration, and maintenance.
• Support user applications and troubleshooting; on-call 24/7 availability.
• Ensure compliance with PWS, security requirements, and program guidelines.
