Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Base Communications Officer Supervisor to support a government contract on Diego Garcia. The role requires supervising Base Communications Office operations, ensuring system reliability, and maintaining compliance with PWS and QA standards.

The candidate must have a US passport, be able to obtain a Secret clearance, and possess supervisory experience in austere OCONUS environments with a multinational workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline preferred.
• At least five (5) years of experience in Base Communications Office operations on a government contract or at a military installation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US passport and a Secret US Government Clearance.
• Three years’ supervisory experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multinational workforce.
• Experience operating and maintaining Base Telecommunications Distribution System and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Base Communications Office operations to ensure compliance with the PWS.
• Manage switch operations, switchboard operations, and maintenance of inside plant equipment.
• Supervise personnel, ensuring readiness for deployments and adherence to security protocols.
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental policies per company guidelines.
