Job summary

Amentum, a global leader in engineering and professional services, seeks a Base Communications Officer Site Manager to support a US government contract on Diego Garcia. You will supervise Base Communications Office operations, including switch and inside plant tasks, ensuring alignment with the PWS and Amentum QMS.

The role requires extensive field leadership, the ability to respond within 30 minutes around the clock, and eligibility for a Secret clearance and US passport.

Qualifications

• At least ten years' experience in Base Communications Office operations on government contracts or military installations.
• BICSI Registered Technician Level or higher.
• Ability to obtain Secret US Government Clearance and US passport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Base Telecommunications Distribution System and switch operations.
• Ensure compliance with PWS and ISO 9001 QMS.
• Supervise a multinational workforce in austere OCONUS environment.
• Maintain readiness for 24/7 deployment requirements.
