Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF/IS programs in overseas locations. You will deploy to U.S. military installations, live on base, and meet medical and security requirements.

You will manage emergency communications, logistics, and volunteer engagement to advance mission readiness. The role requires five years of program management experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to collaborate with military leadership across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of five years related experience in program management or related field is required.
• Skills: Strong computer skills, public speaking and excellent written/verbal communication are required.
• Military culture familiarity and ability to work with diverse populations are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate emergency communication messages and support services to military members and families.
• Coordinate and conduct follow-up services with clients and log all activities.
• Maintain rosters, unit contacts, and case logs per mission guidelines.
• Manage SAF/IS program delivery and volunteer engagement within jurisdiction.
• Oversee deployment readiness, medical clearances, and security requirements.
