Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a highly adaptable Regional Program Specialist - Reserve to support SAF/IS programs, including IHL, YAC and RFL, across overseas locations. You will deploy for six months, meet medical and security clearances, and manage mobile teams while coordinating with military installations.

Responsibilities include emergency communication casework, program reporting, stakeholder outreach, and volunteer supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, HR management, community organization, social/health sciences, or related field.
• Strong computer skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Public speaking skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations and protocol is strongly desired.
• Experience with American Red Cross programs and services is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate emergency communication messages and related support for military members and families.
• Monitor service delivery outcomes and document program activities.
• Build relationships with military leadership and installation partners.
• Manage volunteer engagement across SAF/IS and related programs.
• Supervise volunteer service delivery teams and coordinate events and trainings.
• Serve as deployable member of SAF Mobile Team and support overseas deployments.
