Job summary

CAE USA is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support the F-16 Flight Trainer at Isa Air Base, Bahrain. The role requires hands-on electronics maintenance, calibration, and testing of simulators and related equipment, with potential travel to additional overseas locations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electronic maintenance on training devices, a degree or equivalent training, and U.S. citizenship due to DoD requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent training.
• Minimum 5 years electronics maintenance experience on simulation systems.
• U.S. citizens only due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas for F-16 Flight Trainer at Isa Air Base, Bahrain; may support other locations.
• Calibrate, install, maintain, repair, and test flight simulators and support equipment.
• Install changes and updates to simulators and equipment as required.
• Perform readiness checks on flight simulation equipment and instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions of simulators and support equipment.
• Prepare shipping crates and documentation for repair items.
