Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking a seasoned electronics/ avionics technician to support F16 Flight Simulators at Nellis AFB. You will calibrate, install, maintain, repair, and test simulators and related equipment, ensuring readiness for operations.

Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for DoD clearance; you will follow security policies and work within a team of CLS Technical Representatives in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in the electronics field or a two-year electronic technician resident course at an accredited technical institute and/or 4 years of military technical training and equivalent electronics maintenance experience on equipment of similar complexity.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, install, maintain, repair, and test flight simulators, and other support equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and document malfunctions of simulators and support equipment.
• Perform required readiness checks on flight simulation equipment and instruments.
• Conduct and document preventative maintenance checks required for simulator and support equipment.
