Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform maintenance on F-16 flight training simulators at Isa Air Base, Bahrain, including preventive maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting of complex simulation systems.

Role requires 5+ years in electronic maintenance on similar equipment, and eligibility for DoD security clearance. Overseas travel and 24x7 on-call support are possible. CAE offers a supportive, compliant work environment and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in electronics or equivalent military/electronics training.
• Minimum 5 years' electronic maintenance experience on complex simulation systems.
• U.S. citizenship required due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, install, maintain, repair, and test flight simulators and support equipment.
• Perform readiness checks on flight simulation equipment and instruments.
• Install changes and updates to simulators as required.
• Troubleshoot and document malfunctions; repair simulators and support equipment.
• Manage spare parts, shipping, and data collection records for maintenance.
• Assist with site facilities and installation/check-out of equipment modifications.
• Work from engineering drawings and manufacturer manuals to solve problems.
