Haven House Services is seeking a dedicated Overnight Awake Counselor to provide direct care for youth in crisis. The role involves facilitating a therapeutic environment and overseeing shelter operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and two years of related experience. Responsibilities include administering medication, supervising youth, and ensuring a clean and safe facility.

Flexibility with evening and weekend hours is necessary, and compensation details are to be determined.

Competenze

• Two years of related experience working with target population or a combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of local community resources and client documentation.

Mansioni

• Facilitate a safe and therapeutic residential environment for youth.
• Administer medication according to agency policies.
• Supervise youth and monitor activities in the shelter overnight.

Conoscenze

Knowledge of NC Juvenile Court System

Strong written and verbal communication skills
