Job summary

Community Youth Services seeks Associate Counselors for Haven House to support youth ages 12–17 in a safe, therapeutic setting. This role involves filling in for Residential Counselors and providing crisis intervention and guidance to promote positive development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Two years of education or experience in social sciences or related fields.
• TB test results or ability to obtain them within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing environment to minimize crisis behavior.
• Offer guidance and counseling to maintain safe behavior.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Coordinate daily activities and provide structured support.
• Conduct intake assessments and behavioral observations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Act as a crisis liaison and provide community resource information.
