Job summary

The Key Program, Inc. seeks an Overnight Awake Shift Worker in Providence, RI to supervise and care for youth during overnight hours. Duties include monitoring, bed checks, safety procedures and supporting routines like wake-up, meals and transportation.

The role reports to a residential program team that emphasizes trauma-informed care and staff development. Applicant should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to complete

Qualifications

• College coursework and one year of relevant experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalency required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid state driver’s license and legally registered and insured car for work use
• Commitment to participate in required trainings and certifications in FA/CPR/AED, MAP and CPI Crisis Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Overnight watches from 11pm to 7am, monitoring clients and performing bed checks.
• Follow safety procedures, document incidents and maintain a secure environment.
• Assist clients with routines including wake-up, meals, school prep, medication administration and transportation.
