Job summary

Key Program is seeking Overnight Awake Shift Workers in Providence, RI for their residential program serving up to six female youth referred by DCYF. The Shift Worker protects welfare during overnight hours, monitors clients, performs bed checks, and enforces safety procedures in a trauma-informed setting.

Wage is a competitive $22 per hour with additional compensation for bilingual skills and our referral bonus program; benefits include insurance details, tuition assistance, and 403(b)

Qualifications

• College coursework and one year of relevant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid state driver’s license and insured vehicle for work use.

Responsibilities

• Overnight shifts run from 11pm to 7am; maintain alertness and supervision.
• Conduct client bed checks every 15 minutes and security checks.
• Develop positive, professional relationships with clients using a strengths-based approach.
• Follow safety policies, document incidents, and assist with routine tasks.
• Assist with morning routines, meals, school prep, medications, and transportation.
