Job summary

Key Program, Inc. in Fall River, MA is seeking an Overnight Awake Shift Worker for its residential program serving up to six adolescent males.

The role covers overnight hours (11pm–7:30am) with responsibilities including monitoring, bed checks, and safety procedures to maintain a trauma-sensitive environment. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years of age, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to complete FA/CPR/AED, MAP, and CPI trainings.

Qualifications

• College coursework and one year of relevant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver’s license and legally registered and insured car for work use.
• Commitment to participate in trainings and certifications in FA/CPR/AED, MA MAP and CPI Crisis Intervention.

Responsibilities

• Remains awake, alert, and security conscious during overnight shift (11pm–7:30am).
• Performs and documents client bed checks every 15 minutes and security checks as scheduled.
• Engages clients with a positive, strength-based, client-centered approach.
• Follows safety policies and manual procedures to maintain structure and supervision.
• Assists clients with routines: wake-up, meals, school prep, medication administration, and transportation.
