Job summary

NEFCO is seeking an organized Overnight Warehouse Lead/Dispatcher to coordinate routing and scheduling of our delivery fleet. You will ensure timely, safe, and compliant deliveries while managing shift operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in warehousing/distribution, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role supports DOT compliance and requires hands-on leadership on overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in industrial warehousing/distribution operations.
• Effective communicator up, down and across the organization.
• 1+ year of dispatching, transportation coordination, or fleet operations preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and DVIR.
• Proficient in dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily delivery routes for the fleet, optimizing for efficiency and on-time performance.
• Dispatch drivers and provide instructions for deliveries, pickups, and route changes.
• Monitor real-time fleet activity to ensure timely delivery commitments are met.
• Maintain and update driver logs, delivery schedules, route reports, and other records.
• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to communicate delivery updates.
• Uphold safety, compliance and reporting standards across the shift.
• Foster teamwork and motivate staff to maintain high performance.
