Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) in Honolulu seeks an Overnight Client Care Representative to serve as the welcoming, compassionate voice for emergency and specialty visits. You will collaborate with our medical team, maintain accurate records, educate clients on hospital services, and support overnight operations in Hawaii's premier veterinary hospital.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical reception experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced emergency environment.
• Compassionate, dependable, and client-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and patients with professionalism, compassion, and empathy.
• Serve as the first point of contact for emergency and specialty clients during overnight hours.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate client and patient medical records.
• Educate clients on hospital services, policies, and treatment processes.
• Answer incoming calls, manage appointment requests, and assist with emergency inquiries.
• Process patient admissions, discharges, and follow-up appointments.
• Accurately prepare invoices, process payments, and maintain financial records.
• Perform general administrative duties including scanning, emailing, filing, and document management.
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and hospital staff to ensure seamless overnight operations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
