Ethos Veterinary Health's Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC Hawaii) in Honolulu seeks an experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician for per diem shifts at our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital.

Credentialing is preferred but not required; strong hands-on skills, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring are essential. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to advance within Ethos Veterinary Health.

Competenze

• Two or more years of Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant experience in a progressive general practice, or at least one year in Emergency or Specialty medicine.
• Veterinary Technician credentialing preferred but not required.
• Strong hands-on skills including patient restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medication administration, and patient monitoring.
• Confidence with medication calculations, fluid rates, and CRIs.
• Anesthesia and sedation monitoring experience.
• Emergency, ICU, Critical Care, Specialty, or high-volume veterinary experience preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Looking to pick up additional veterinary shifts while keeping flexibility in your schedule?

Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to support our 24/7 Emergency & Specialty hospital on a per diem basis.

Credentialing is preferred but not required. Experienced Veterinary Assistants with strong hands-on clinical skills are encouraged to apply.

What You Bring
