Job summary

TAPP Workforce Solutions is hiring a Turret Punch Press Operator for the 3rd shift in El Paso, TX. You will set up and run turret punch press equipment, verify materials, and ensure parts meet specifications, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.

This hands-on role requires 1–2 years of machine operation, attention to detail, and safety. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with voluntary weekend overtime; onsite work with a steady overnight workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience using handheld measuring tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Turret punch press experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience in metals preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret punch press equipment according to work orders.
• Inspect materials before processing to ensure first-pass quality.
• Perform quality checks and record measurements with measuring tools.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Identify and separate scrap and non-conforming material.
• Assist with basic preventive maintenance and keep the work area clean.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train team members when required.
