Job summary

TAPP Workforce Solutions is hiring a Turret Punch Press Operator for the 3rd shift in El Paso, TX. You will set up and run turret punch press equipment, verify materials, and ensure parts meet specifications, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.

This hands-on role requires 1–2 years of machine operation, attention to detail, and safety. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with voluntary weekend overtime; onsite work with a steady overnight workflow.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of machine operation experience.

Responsibilities

Set up and run turret punch press equipment on a steady Monday to Friday overnight shift, with ownership of quality from start to finish.
Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with weekend overtime only if you want it.
Pay Rate: $20.75/hr

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up and operate turret punch press equipment according to work orders and specifications

• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and productivity records
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment
• Identify and separate scrap and non-conforming material
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and keep your work area clean and organized
• Assist with packaging and material handling as needed
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Train team members when required

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of machine operation experience
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Basic math skills
• Experience using handheld measuring tools
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• A strong safety mindset
• Turret punch press experience is preferred
• Forklift experience or certification is preferred
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred, ideally in the metals industry
• Basic computer skills are preferred

Compensation and Work Model

• Compensation is competitive and will be discussed during the screening process.
• Schedule: 3rd Shift, Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Weekend overtime is available on a voluntary basis.
• Work model: Onsite.
