The role requires inspecting materials, performing quality checks with measuring tools, and logging production data while supporting safety and continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Basic math and measuring using handheld tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.
• Turret punch press experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or metal industry background helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate turret punch press equipment according to work orders and specifications.
• Inspect and verify materials before processing.
• Perform quality checks and record measurements using measuring tools.
• Maintain production, inspection, and productivity records.
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
• Identify and segregate scrap and non-conforming material.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping.
• Assist with packaging and material handling as needed.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train team members when required.
