Job summary

Michaels Stores in North Riverside, IL is seeking Seasonal Holiday Helpers to deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers across the store. You’ll help customers locate products, engage with the rewards program, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, supporting omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS), and maintaining in-stock merchandise. Evening and weekend availability preferred for a busy season.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Able to move throughout the store and lift/move items as needed

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enroll them
• Educate customers on VOC survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and store upkeep including returns/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies; maintain a positive store environment
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
• Retail experience is preferred
