Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Store Leader to plan, direct and supervise team members across departments, mentoring staff and driving sales while delivering outstanding customer service.

You’ll coordinate staffing, training, and development, promote promotion readiness, and ensure adherence to company standards and safety requirements. You will engage with customers and teams to ensure efficient service during peak hours, maintain store appearance, and contribute to measurable improvements in service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas such as meat, bakery, produce and deli.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and provide direction.
• Ability to resolve conflict and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze financial information to inform decisions.
• Experience mentoring team members across roles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in daily store operations.
