Job summary

Stryker is seeking an installation specialist to perform on-site setup, testing, and quality inspection of surgical light suspensions, booms, and video systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and electricians, traveling as required to patient facilities.

Responsibilities include documenting installations, maintaining records, and providing project updates while upholding safety and quality standards, with strong emphasis on CAD interpretation and IP networking basics.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years related technical experience in telecom, video/audio system installation, electrical/construction, medical device, hospital biomed.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates a professional work ethic and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Confirm site readiness and inventory of installable equipment and communicate issues to the project team.
• Install surgical light suspension systems, booms, and video integration wiring per specs.
• Program, test, and inspect video sources and document tasks prior to project sign-off.
• Maintain records, provide updates to stakeholders, and coordinate with Quality and regulatory teams.
