Job summary

Stryker is seeking a field installation specialist to perform on-site installation, testing, and quality inspection of surgical light suspensions, booms, and video integration systems. You will coordinate with sales, project engineering, field service, electricians, plumbers, and hospital staff to ensure successful deployments.

The role requires 100% overnight travel, Monday through Friday, with travel and lodging paid per corporate policy.

Qualifications

Requires strong field installation experience and ability to read complex wiring diagrams and CAD drawings.
Must document installation activities accurately and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Requires ability to travel overnight 100% Monday–Friday and comply with travel policies.

Responsibilities

Confirms site readiness and pre-installation requirements and inventories equipment.
Installs surgical light suspensions, booms, video integration systems, and ancillary equipment.
Programs, tests, and inspects video sources per design specs and quality standards.
Maintains accurate installation records and provides project updates to stakeholders.
Coordinates travel arrangements and manages daily schedule to complete installation activities.
Interacts with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant installations.
