Job summary

Qualifications include a HS Diploma or GED, at least 1 year in maintenance/sanitation, OSHA knowledge, and strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains department cleanliness and safety with urgency
• Deep cleans and disinfects processing areas and departments
• Maintains documentation of chemical handling and sanitation verification
• Uses cleaning chemicals and tools properly
• Follows H-E-B chemical program and maintains maintenance room stock
• Applies knowledge of insects/rodent control and pest traps
• Ensures food safety and sanitation standards per SOPs
• Communicates maintenance needs and improvements to Store Leaders
• Performs duties of Total Store Sanitation Rep when needed
• Assists customers in locating products
