Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Total Store Sanitation Specialist to maintain cleanliness and safety across store departments. The role involves deep cleaning, chemical handling, and sanitation verification to meet food safety standards.

You will work with department teams to uphold sanitation processes, assist customers as needed, and perform duties of Total Store Sanitation Rep when required. Requires 1+ year in maintenance or sanitation and HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain department cleanliness and safety with urgency and prioritization.
• Deep clean and disinfect processing areas, equipment, fixtures, coolers, floors, and drains.
• Document chemical handling and sanitation verification correctly.
• Properly use chemicals and cleaning tools per program.
• Organize and maintain stock for maintenance in the room.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards by following SOPs.
• Communicate maintenance needs and process improvements to Store Leaders.
• Assist customers with locating products and support service tasks.
