Walmart in Urbana is seeking a store leader to drive team performance and customer experience at the 100 S High Cross Rd location. You will supervise hourly associates, teach training initiatives, and align store operations with company goals while delivering strong financial results.

The role emphasizes developing teams, improving processes, and maintaining high service standards to support community needs and EDLP/EDLC business models.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U (if listed) or equivalent leadership qualifications

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by training and providing feedback to associates.
• Drives store performance by managing budget, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Ensures customer service standards and the Open Door Policy are followed.
• Supervises and develops hourly associates, hiring, training, and mentoring.
• Coordinates activities with stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
