Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stocker in Springfield, MO to keep shelves full and organized from overnight shifts. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product for freshness, and tag overstock for the back room while providing friendly help to customers.

No prior experience is required and we’ll train you to follow written and verbal instructions, use basic math, and stay organized in a fast-paced overnight environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and passing along any feedback or requests to the team.
• Unload trucks, open containers, stock shelves, run overstock on risers, and rotate product to ensure freshness.
• Monitor for mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues accordingly.
• Organize stock for greatest efficiency and clean and restock any damaged items.
• Tag shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers.
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input.
• Work alongside your teammates to ensure a smooth, efficient overnight operation.
