Job summary

Meijer in Ohio is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers. You will move products from pallets or carts to shelves, ensure backstock is managed, and work with store leadership to finish tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

This position is responsible for taking stock from either an l-cart or pallet and, with using the correct location codes provided on the box, put the stock in the correct location on the shelf and repeat this process until the assigned area is finished.
