Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and provide an exceptional shopping experience. You will move products from pallets to shelves, backstock, and collaborate with leadership to meet deadlines.

This entry-level role includes weekly pay, overnight shifts, and opportunities for advancement. You should be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• You're comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• You stay organized and procedures in an efficient way.
• You stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• You enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
