Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stocker in Lincoln, NE. This role supports the overnight team to keep shelves full and organized for morning shoppers. You will unload trucks, restock, rotate stock, and ensure freshness while assisting customers and maintaining store standards.

Ideal candidates are active, team-oriented, and careful with safety. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with willingness to learn and follow Hy-Vee policies during all shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay organized and pace with a busy overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and sharing feedback to the team
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product for freshness
• Monitor for mis-picks, stockouts, and wrong deliveries and report issues
• Organize stock for efficiency and restock damaged items
• Tag shelves with overstock/backroom items and manage understock draws
• Report new items to scanning coordinator for system input
• Work with teammates for a smooth overnight operation
• Maintain dress code, hygiene standards and all company policies
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed
