Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stocker to join the Grocery department. This role supports the overnight crew by unloading trucks, stocking shelves, rotating product, and keeping the backroom organized to ensure shelves are ready for customers each morning.

You will greet customers, assist with finding products, and collaborate with teammates to maintain a fast-paced, safe, and accurate stock environment. This is an active, hands-on position requiring physical stamina.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; up to six months of similar or related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Maintain organization and pace during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and passing along feedback or requests.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product for freshness, and organize backroom overstock.
• Monitor mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, reporting issues to the team.
• Work with teammates to ensure a smooth overnight operation and maintain store standards.
